Vin de Liège
Vin de Liège has masterfully demonstrated that it is possible to combine social purpose and economic profitability. Its cooperative model has also been emulated by the Walloon neo-vinegrowers, from Herve to Tubize. Vin de Liège has chosen interspecific grape varieties, the surface area currently planted being 16.3 hectares, with a subsoil of clayey or sandy limestone depending on the plot. The cellar, which is underground, allows gravity-fed work and blends beautifully into its environment. The estate is certified organic.
Narcisse
Muscaris was developed in Freiburg in 1987 by crossing Solaris (interspecific grape variety) and Muscat à petits grains (Vitis Vinifera). It produces wines in the Muscat lineage, releasing aromas of fresh white grapes.
Vinification and maturing are carried out in stainless steel vats, with temperature control to preserve the liveliness and aromatic palette of the wine. The malolactic fermentation has been blocked in order to maintain the acidity that characterises the whole range of Vin de Liège.
Lemon yellow colour with a beautiful brilliance.
Nose dominated by grapes, with hints of white flowers.
Very fresh, with 0 grams of residual sugar. Average length.
An Asian shrimp dish, a salad. Or try it with asparagus.
