Domaine du Riou
It is the father-in-law of Raymond Leroy, the kingpin of the Vignoble des Agaises (Ruffus), who acquired 6 hectares of vines located in St Laurent de Carnols and St Michel d'Euzet, north of Orange. A gift for his grandchildren, John (bio-engineer) and Arnaud Leroy (computer scientist), who both work at Les Agaises. The vineyard is planted with Syrah, Grenache and Carignan on stony sandstone and limestone terraces. The average age of the vines is 40 years.
